The best of international show jumping and lifestyle offerings is back for the eleventh time in the City of Light. The Longines Masters of Paris launches today and will be held at the Parc des Expositions de Paris-Villepinte from December 5 to 8, 2019. Ticketing is now open. And in order to make the event as accessible as possible, the pricing is changing!

Sporting excellence…

Since 2009, the event has brought together the greatest show jumping riders in the world to compete over the Paris-Villepinte track, creating an unparalleled show. For four days, the public lives at the frantic pace of a CSI 5* competition (the highest level of FEI (Fédération Equestre Internationale) competitions, dedicated to the finest riders in the world), and the CSI 1* and 2* levels, which are ridden by the rising stars of world show jumping.

At the CSI 5* level, the public enthusiastically returns to support the signature events that are the identity of the Longines Masters of Paris: the Riders Masters Cup, brought to you by its Founding Partner; Longines (Friday, December 5), a confrontation between the two world show jumping powers, Europe and the United States; the Masters Power (Saturday, December 6), also known as the “six-bar event”, which regularly breaks height records; the Longines Speed Challenge (Saturday, December 6), a real speed championship, definitely the fastest event in the world; finally, the Longines Grand Prix (Sunday, December 8), with soaring odds, which is undoubtedly one of the events that every top-level rider must compete in during their career, at least once.

… and the best that lifestyle has to offer

Since its launch, the Longines Masters has shaken up show jumping competition norms by putting as much importance on the top-level sport that’s visible on course, as on the entertainment offered around it. Thus, the Longines Masters of Paris presents its audience with the best lifestyle offerings, with concerts, top-of-the-range gastronomy and entertainment for the whole family.

New pricing that benefits the greatest number of people

True to its mission to make equestrian sports accessible to as many people as possible, the Longines Masters of Paris is offering a number of redesigned ticketing options this year. For example, the prices in categories 1 and 2 have been reduced, and new services have been added to the Premium and Gold categories, such as including a parking space.

Charitable Longines Masters de Paris

For its eleventh edition, the event has decided to spotlight the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque association. The Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque association enables children from disadvantaged countries suffering from heart defects to have their surgery in France. From September 16, anyone who buys a ticket to the Longines Masters of Paris via the longinesmasters.com website has the opportunity to make a donation, the entirety of which goes to the association. This donation will automatically enter the donor in a raffle to win a visit to the stables, a meeting with an international rider or course walk at a flagship event at the Longines Masters of Paris.

Feel the vibe, enjoy the ride

The eleventh edition of the Longines Masters of Paris promises to once again offer a unique experience and atmosphere, centered around the best show jumping in the world.

With a passion for equestrian sports, Christophe Ameeuw –CEO and Founder of EEM– created the Ecuries d’Ecaussinnes in 1997. Based in Belgium, the stables today enjoy an international reputation for trading competition horses, for high-end breeding, and for an academy that provides access to the best in equestrian training. The organization, as well as the reinvention of show jumping competitions, is the challenge that Christophe Ameeuw and his team have set for themselves. The company has developed by creating the “Masters” concept, which brings together under one roof the best of show jumping, entertainment and lifestyle experience.

After the successes of the Audi Masters in Brussels and the Gucci Paris Masters, EEM has added to its prestigious profile of events a new iconic competition, one of the most prestigious equestrian events in the world, the Longines Masters series on three continents in Paris, Hong Kong and New York. Inspired by the legendary tournaments of the tennis Grand Slam, EEM has created in a single package the “Grand Slam of Indoor Show Jumping”, recognized by the FEI, which is the ultimate intercontinental challenge, offered to the world’s elite in show jumping with two levels of prizes: The Super Grand Slam, a bonus of 2.25 million Euros for winning three consecutive Longines Grand Prix in the same season, and the Grand Slam, a bonus of 1 million Euros for three successive victories in the Longines Grand Prix from one season to the next.

In 2017, EEM created a new iconic competition, the Riders Masters Cup, with Longines as the founding partner. Presented in collaboration with the EEF (European Equestrian Federation) and taking place alternately in Europe and the United States, this battle will oppose the two world powers of show jumping: Europe and the United States. On the Asian continent, meanwhile, there is the Asia Horse Week, a real meeting point for the international equestrian community in Asia, which was created during the Longines Masters in Hong Kong, thus demonstrating EEM’s desire to develop the international sector in the Asia-Pacific region. In 2019, the Longines Masters enriched the series with a new prestigious stage: after Paris, Hong Kong and New York, Lausanne became the fourth stopover in this intercontinental series.
