Gladstone, New Jersey – The United States Equestrian Team (USET) Foundation has partnered with Jump Media to further awareness of its programs and fundraising goals.
Formed in 2003 as the philanthropic, non-profit partner of US Equestrian, the USET Foundation works to make the dream of representing the United States in international competition a reality for many while simultaneously striving for competitive excellence for the nation’s equestrian athletes. Each year, the USET Foundation covers more than half of the budgeted costs for the USA’s high performance teams across the eight international equestrian disciplines of dressage, eventing, jumping, driving, endurance, reining, para-equestrian, and vaulting.
Unlike other countries, U.S. equestrian teams do not receive any government subsidies towards competition expenses. Instead, US Equestrian depends on the USET Foundation as a main source of funding, made possible thanks to generous supporters and donors nationwide. By partnering with Jump Media, the USET Foundation seeks to raise the profile of its mission and the various charitable components involved in its work.
“There are many riders who wouldn’t be able to ride at the level they do and represent us internationally without the generosity of so many people that contribute to the foundation each year and make that funding available,” said Bonnie Jenkins, Executive Director of the USET Foundation. “Our new partnership with Jump Media will allow us to raise the bar in terms of engaging our stakeholders and promoting our programs and, most importantly, focusing on the development of our athletes and the next generation of team riders.”

Since 2004, the USET Foundation has awarded more than $42 million in grants to support US Equestrian’s high performance programs and elite and developing international high performance athletes and horses by offsetting the costs of competition, training, coaching, travel, and education.

In addition to helping fund teams for Olympic, Pan American, and World Equestrian Games competition, the USET Foundation also helps provide financial support for developing athletes through training grants, national training sessions, and talent search programs to identify future elite equestrian athletes.
