Next weekend from 17 till the 20th of may the Longines FEI Nations Cup of La Baule will take place. The event is expecting 17 nations, 68 competitors and 178 horses at the showgrounds.
The masterlist has some of the biggest names of the moment on it ready for the Nations Cup and individual competitions. For Germany it will be for example Markus Beerbaum and Marcus Ehning, while for Brazil it’s Yuri Mansur and Luiz Felipe de Azevedo Filho who will take part in the Nations Cup.
For Canady it will be Tiff Foster and Ben Asselin, while Ireland will also send Shane Sweetnam and Denis Lynch. The Dutch team also followes with some strong names as Harrie Smolders, Jur Vrieling and Marc Houtzager. The French team has listed their A riders like Simon Delestre, Patrice Deleveau and Mathieu Billot.
For the individual classes we’ll see Steve Guardat and Pius Schwizer for Switserland, while Belgium brings both Jerome Guery and Gudrun Patteet . American rider Kent Farrington will also make his big comeback on the circuit.
