Traverse City, Mich. – June 20, 2019 – The 2019 Great Lakes Equestrian Festival (GLEF), presented by CaptiveOne Advisors, LLC, returns to the Flintfields Horse Park July 3-Aug. 11 featuring six weeks of internationally and nationally rated hunter, jumper and equitation competition.

Tables in the VIP Club are located in a first-class structure with unobstructed views of the Grand Prix Ring, offering the perfect location to relax and watch some of the best show jumping athletes in the world compete. In the VIP Club, you can enjoy delicious food and beverages each week from Wednesday-Sunday, including beer and wine from Traverse City’s own North Peak Brewing Company and Bowers Harbor Vineyards.
Located at the north end of the VIP Club is the new Mammoth Outpost, generously sponsored by the official spirits partner of the 2019 GLEF, Mammoth Distilling. The Mammoth Outpost is open to all guests to purchase drinks, while the full collection of Mammoth Distilling spirits will be exclusively featured in the VIP Club and other locations throughout the duration of the festival.
As always, exhibitor satisfaction and comfort is a top priority for GLEF. A new exhibitor hospitality pavilion built and installed by Suncast® Commercial, the Southern Arches Pavilion, will debut this year between the two main hunter rings. This area will supply snacks, pastries and breakfast items, as well as a popcorn machine courtesy of Wrenwood Farms, each day of competition from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. This year, the exhibitor hospitality area is graciously sponsored by Oryana Natural Foods Market (Week I) and Just A Folly Farm (Week IV).
In addition, the Marshall & Sterling Riders‘ Lounge will be stationed next to the VIP Club overlooking the Grand Prix Ring with plenty of seating to watch rounds or relax after a day of showing.

What: The Great Lakes Equestrian Festival (GLEF), presented by CaptiveOne Advisors, LLC, is held annually in July and August at the Flintfields Horse Park in Williamsburg, Michigan, located just outside Traverse City. This six-week event hosts nationally and internationally rated hunter/jumper competition, featuring weekly classes and classics for children, junior, adult and amateur-owner riders.
