Wellington, FL – March 12, 2019 – The 2019 Adequan® Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) looks forward to hosting international team competition in its tenth week of the circuit on March 13-17, at Equestrian Village at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, FL. The week will include the FEI Nations Cup™ CDIO3* presented by Stillpoint Farm and the Nations Cup CDIO-U25 presented by Diamante Farms.
This is the seventh edition of the FEI Nations Cup™ CDIO3* presented by Stillpoint Farm in the eight-year history of the AGDF. This year’s event welcomes teams from the USA, Canada, Colombia, Germany, and Mexico, along with individuals from Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic. The event is part of the FEI Nations Cup™ Dressage Series. The tenth week of the 2019 AGDF, which also includes CDI 3* and CDI 1* competition, is the third largest CDI ever in the history of the show.
Team medals are decided after the FEI Grand Prix/FEI Prix St. Georges and FEI Grand Prix Special/FEI Intermediaire-1 competition on Wednesday and Thursday. Individual medals will be presented after Friday’s FEI I-1 Freestyle and FEI Grand Prix Freestyle competition.
In addition to the full schedule of large and small tour competition throughout the week, the FEI Grand Prix Freestyle CDIO3* presented by Stillpoint Farm will be a feature event as part of the “Friday Night Lights” series on Friday, March 15. The night will start with the CDIO-U25 Grand Prix Freestyle at 7 p.m. From rock and roll fun to beautiful classical performances, the night will surely be one to remember.
The Nations Cup CDIO-U25 presented by Diamante Farms debuted in 2017 and this year will welcome teams from USA and Canada along with an individual from Spain. Team medals will be decided with the CDIO-U25 Intermediaire-2 on Wednesday, while individual medals will be given for the CDIO-U25 Grand Prix on Thursday and the CDIO-U25 Grand Prix Freestyle on Friday evening.
