Ashley Bond & Cornancer Victorious in the $30,000 Flintridge Grand Prix

Celebrating Junior Amateur and Pony Style Awards


Ashley Bond and Cornancer led the victory gallop in the $30,000 Flintridge Grand Prix to applause from a wonderful audience.

34 riders entered the ring for the first round of the Grand Prix leading to 4 horse and rider combinations returning for the jump off.The course tested both horse and rider with four missing the jump off on time faults alone. Sophie Simpson and A Picasso de Vie returned to the ring to take second place, followed by Laura Ware and Ursina du Perchet for third. Bond came back to the jump off with a second horse Ace Of Hearts to take fourth position in the awards line up.

Saturday evenings event honored Karen V. Price, Anthony Price was in attendance to present the awards on this special night. The presentation included Ashley Bond receiving the the Lisa Kursinski Memorial Perpetual Trophy.

$30,000 Flintridge Grand Prix Results:

The Style Awards presented on Saturday included the Junior, Amateur and Pony Style Awards. The Junior Style Award was presented to Julia Stone and included the Lydia F. Theurkauf Memorial Perpetual Trophy. The Amateur Style Award winner Renee Rodda was presented with the Alan and Jean Williams Memorial Perpetual Trophy. Sienna Gustafson was a awarded the Pony Style Award.
