The ladies had the final word at Jumping Mechelen on Friday. Ten amazones eventually flew through the Nekkerhal during the jump off of the Henders & Hazel Open Queens Cup. But in the end it was French rider Aurore Christian who was crowned best rider. She rode Uniflore Minotiere a 10-year-old SF mare by Luccianno. Belgium’s Ann Carton-Grootjans (Kai Licha de Carmel) finished in second place. Stephanie Holmén of Sweden (Kirlo van den Bosrand) followed in third place.
