An introduction
to the Waldenserhof
Waldenserhof
For
many years Horst-Klaus Heleine and his family have been running a well-known
training, competition and livery yard in Ober-Ramstadt/Rohrbach, which
is situated approx. 10 km from Darmstadt, on the edge of the Oden forest.
The 'Waldenserhof' benefits from its proximity to Frankfurt airport
and is within easy reach from the motorway junction Darmstadt (approx.
10 km).

The family-run business 'Waldenserhof' was built
in November 1985. It stands in 65ha and is self-sufficient in
hay, straw and oats.
The complex consists of 41 spacious loose boxes, a solarium, a
whirl pool, a horse walker, an extremely large sand school and
an indoor arena which is fully insulated and measures 22 x 60
m.

The
'Waldenserhof' offers a full range of services, such as breaking and
selling horses, training of riders and even competing horses up to international
level.
Horses are taken for schooling or on livery.

Horst-Klaus
Heleine was born on 9th November 1959. He has been riding since
the age of nine, and won his first junior competition in 1969,
aged ten. In 1978 he was the Junior Hessian Champion. In 1980
he won his first advanced competition at level 'S'. He was very
successful at this level and internationally, with horses that
he had schooled himself. In 1990 he was award the 'goldene Reiterabzeichen'.
He is not only successful in show jumping, however. In younger
years, Horst-Klaus Heleine competed with success in dressage and
eventing.
