Ireland’s Stephen Moore claimed the Classic Champions Seven-Year-Old Young Jumper Final riding Scarlett du Sart Z on Thursday, September 29, at the 2017 Old Salem Farm Fall Classic, running through Sunday, October 1, at Old Salem Farm in North Salem, NY.

Course designer Frédéric Cottier of France, who set the tracks at the 2014 FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy, France, designed the courses for the Seven-Year-Old Young Jumper Division, which saw three horses advance to a jump-off. Moore took the win by more than a second over the short course by crossing the timers double clear in 51.91 seconds with Scarlett du Sart Z.

“This is only my second show with her after she made her U.S. debut

at the American Gold Cup here at Old Salem Farm two weeks ago.

This ring is beautiful and a big grass field is a nice setting for young horses to gain experience on. We love it here.”
