Sam Ramirez, Jr. and his wife, Fabiana, announce the 7th Annual Haviland Hollow Charity Cup at their farm in Patterson, N.Y., on Saturday, August 22, to benefit Pegasus Therapeutic Riding and The Rider’s Closet. The family-friendly polo event will be co-hosted by Sam and Fabiana, equestrian and Rider’s Closet founder Georgina Bloomberg, Emmy award-winning director Cary Fukunaga and NuEnergen co-founder Kevin Hamilton.

The Haviland Hollow Charity Cup will feature polo matches from 1-4pm, live DJ and dancing from 4-6pm, a silent auction, light refreshments for tailgaters and an all-inclusive gourmet lunch with open bar for VIP ticket purchasers. In recognition of her continued outstanding philanthropic support of Pegasus, Georgina Bloomberg will receive the inaugural Pegasus Benevolence Award at the event.

Proceeds from the Haviland Hollow Charity Cup will support Pegasus’ mission to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities and challenges through equine-assisted activities and therapies, and The Rider’s Closet’s mission to provide donated equestrian apparel to pony clubs, therapeutic riding centers, scholastic teams and individual riders in need.
