The German show jumpers participating at the 30^th Olympic Games in London have been named some time ago. Three of the six members of the DZ Bank team will travel to London with the German team and fight for Olympic gold from 4 to 8 August 2012 .

Philipp Weishaupt will represent Germany with his 10-year-old Monte Bellini.

Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum managed to qualify for the Olympics with her 9-year-old mare Bella Donna. Her magnificent third place during the Aachen Grand Prix definitely convinced the German team coach to select her as reserve rider.

The third DZ BANK team rider is Henrik von Eckermann. He presented Ludger Beerbaum’s (= his boss) horses Allerdings and Coupe de Coeur in top form. Henrik von Eckermann, who starts for Sweden, decided to ride Allerdings during the Olympic competitions.
