Dutch Anky van Grunsven was not very satisfied about her Grand Prix test at the first day of the Dutch championships today. She came fourth with Salinero (18) with a score of 73,830%. The test started with low marks for entering and extended trot. Two ninth she got for a canter pirouette but is wasn’t a top test.

‘I really am disappointed. My horses wasn’t focused at all. This resulted in several mistakes. If you ask me what went well in the test, I can say: not enough. I rode Salli last Wednesday in the main ring and he was good. Tomorrow, I will ride some exercises of the Special and then I hope he is focused on me on Saturday. The reason for this ranking and score? It might be the lack of competition rhythm. Every half an hour I have another thought about the London Olympics. But when I really don’t want to go, I already was on my way home, I think.’
