Hünxe, Germany – On 20 April Jessica Kürten had handed over five Castle Forbes horses to the custody of Lady Georgina Forbes. Lady Georgina Forbes had posted a bank guarantee of €300.000 (US$435.000) beforehand, as the Higher Regional Court in Düsseldorf had ordered the posting of the bank guarantee to cover Jessica Kürten’s costs that occurred for training and maintaining of the horses .

The handover of the five horses (Castle Forbes Libertina, Castle Forbes Myrtille Paulois, Castle Forbes Cosma, Castle Forbes Vivaldo) took place in the presence of the lawyers and veterinarians of both parties as well as the veterinary inspector of the district of Wesel.  The horses were thoroughly checked and blood tests were taken at the request of Jessica Kürten. Afterwards they were shipped to the nearby clinic of Dr. Marc Cronau in Bochum.

The couple Kürten has no knowledge about who will be the new riders of the horses.
