Great Britain: Sarah Philipps seeks for Olympia


Referring to a report of www.horseandhound.co.uk the actual World Champion Eventing Zarah Philipps doesn’t expect an invitation for the World Eequestrian Games in Kentucky with her top-horse “Toytown” being out of action. As for Zara Philipps, she’s looking forward to participating at the Olympic Games 2012 in London though.

Netherlands


The USA and Canada won’t send their participants to s´Hertogenbosch for the Dressage World Cup Finals because of health problems of the riders and/or horses. Instead the Swedish rider Tinne Vilhelmson Silfven and the two Polish Michal Rapcewicz and Katarzyna Milczarek have been nominated.

The actual World Champion dressage Anky van Grunsven has not qualified for the finals, as her three compatriots Edward Gal, Adelinde Cornelissen and Imke Schellekens-Bartels achieved better results.

Austria: No future for “Fest der Pferde” in Vienna


Vienna – On Tuesday the chief of administration Peter Nidetzky announced that the „Fest der Pferde“ festival in the Wiener Stadthalle won`t take place anymore because of the growing expenses and the lack of sponsoring funds.
