Ellen Whitaker is with her 23 years of age the youngest member of the Whitaker family with an own website. Her website is said to be very interactive to enable her to be in touch with her fans. For an annual fee of 20 pounds Sterling fans can even access a section on the website which is for members only. They can go through interviews, photos and training tips or take part in a forum. The website is called: www.ellenwhitaker.com.
William Whitaker’s former Arielle returns to the U.K.
Arielle, William Whitaker’s former mare, has been purchased by Jason and Katrina Moore. The couple bought the mare for the Essex based teenager Daniel Neilson. Thus the mare was brought back to the U.K. In 2007 William Whitaker won the young rider Grand Prix at Windsor Castle and the World Cup qualifier with Arielle. The mare was then sold to the United Arab Emirates in 2008.
Toklund went to Ben Maher
Another horse which has changed hands is Tim Gredley’s gelding Toklund. The 10-year-old horse was purchased by Ben Maher.
