Abu Dhabi – Eleven nations will be sending teams to the first United Arab Emirates CSIO, 3rd-6th Febuary. The five star show, which will be held in the Ghantoot Polo Club, offers 500’000Euro total prize money and has attracted some of the world’s best riders.

The teams include Great Britain, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Holland and Sweden, fielding championship representatives such as Rolf Goran Bengtsson (2008 Olympic Silver medallist) and Juan Carlos Garcia (2009 Team Silver show jumping and Team Bronze eventing). The British team contains Olympians Ben Maher and Robert Smith and amongst the individual riders is current World Champion Jos Lansink and Clarissa Crotta, a member of Switzerland’s reigning European Champion team.

World class course designer Olaf Petersen has been appointed to make sure such a high class field is appropriately tested.
