CASAS NOVAS GEARS UP TO RECEIVE THE BEST RIDERS

Michel Robert and Athina Onassis are just a few of the international riders who will participate.Over 60 riders will begin competing Friday the 18th in the XIX edition of the International Jumping competition of A Coruña. Most of the participants took part last weekend in the events held in Paris, Oporto, Hengelo, Pozman and Barcelona.
The inaugural event, the Móstoles Industrial Trophy, will begin at 3pm on Friday inside the covered arena in the main building. All nine competitions of the program will take place in this area, especially decorated for the Christmas season and set up to receive the thousands of fans. The Telefónica Grand Prix on Saturday and the Grand Prix of the A Coruña Town Hall on Sunday will be the most important competitions. LIST OF RIDERS Apart from Spain, the list of international riders includes the Frenchman Michel Robert, who recently won the Final of the Global Champions Tour last month in Doha. Also participating is Vincent Voorn, from Netherlands, who recently won the grand prizes of Maastrich and Neeroeteren. German riders Toni Hassmann, Christian Ahlmann, Ulrich Kirchhoff and Daniel Deusser will also be present. Riders from Holland and Brazil form the largest group of riders, apart from Spain. The Brazilian riders will be lead by Álvaro de Miranda, third in the Final of the Global Champions Tour, and who will be accompanied by his wife, Athina Onassis, who is also participating. Riders from a total of 16 countries will be on hand for this new indoor edition of the international event in La Coruña. TV COVERAGE |
