Christina Liebherr looses her best sport partner No Mercy. The show jumping
career of No Mercy is terminated. Christina Liebherr had to say goodbye to
her exceptional horse due to an injury of the tendon in the left foreleg.
Thus the Swiss team looses their best horse.

An ultrasonic examination made with a special equipment in the horse clinic
in Telgte close to Muenster came up with the sad diagnosis late Tuesday
evening. ``This is a sport tragedy. I have lost my best sport partner``,
Christina Liebherr said sad but composed after a short night. ``The loss is
tremendous and hurts very much. I had so much success and joy with No Mercy.
And now everything is over at one stroke. No Mercy will not be operated on
but treated conservatively. The swollen leg will be cooled and looked after.
Our aim is that he will be able to move without pain and that he can spend
his retirement on our range in Riaz.``
