European Fiesta!

Almost all the countries who participate to this CSIOJ-YR of Reims 2009

Germany, Great-Britain, Belgium, Spain, Switzerland and of course France
added victories and places to their prize list. And for the first time for
long, France have been the most competitive: 3 victories out of 4 classes
today! That's 4 victories out of 6 classes for the French team!

Saturday morning, France confirmed its Friday's results with two victories
in the intermediate classes. First win thanks to Christopher Briet (on
Lucifer des Sources) in the junior class (Etap Hotel Prize) just before
another French, Margaux Rocuet (with Lagune de Kreisker). Shane Connell
offers the 3rd place to Ireland riding Tres Bien. One hour later, Raphaël
Goehrs and Latino des Leus dominated the Young rider class (Courte-Paille
Prize), with a very small time advance on Marie Moesgaard (DEN) / Corland
Dane. Another French rider completed the podium (Aymeric Azzolino / Olem
Choisi).

Two boots for Italy

Giampiero Garofalo with his 10 year old italin gelding Dic Dik took the
best on his opponents in the big junior class (Ibis Hotel Prize). The
French Breton Margaux Rocuet added another ranking to her prize list,
finishing 2nd with Impression Bleue. Francesca Ciriesi offers another good
placing to Italy, a good way to prepare the Nations Cup scheduled on
Monday.

Just before 7pm, the ultimate class of the day was dedicated to young
riders. After being 3rd this morning, French rider Aymeric Azzolino got
the 1st prize with Moustic des Flayelles, letting David Harland / Vahagn
